The beautiful county of Devon has so much to be proud of. With two coastlines and two National parks Devon is a must visit destination for ‘Stayctioners’ in 2021.
For this issue we will be focusing our research in the southern area, fondly referred to as the English Rivera. Here you’ll discover stunning coastlines with award-winning beaches and a wealth of visitor attractions.

This family-friendly and extremely popular, award winning 5 AA gold pennant graded camping and caravanning site is located in beautiful countryside and only a short drive from the waterside town of Dartmouth. With beautiful countryside, woodland and river scenery, seascapes, superb beaches and pretty rural villages it’s a perfect holiday destination.

The Netflix film, The Dig, released in January 2021 highlighted the beautiful, calm and serene landscape of this beautiful county.
This rural landscape was also where the painter John Constable was born, and where he painted his most celebrated works. An area of outstanding natural beauty, Suffolk is a hidden gem of the English countryside.
This site is located on a small working farm among free-range chickens is also less than a 10-minute walk from Sutton Hoo famous for the splendid Anglo-Saxon ship burial where a warrior king lay for 1,400 years, and hailed since its discovery in the 1930s as one of the finest archaeological finds anywhere in Britain.
Field Farm Fisheries is a small, family-run and friendly farm in Wrentham, Suffolk, stuffed to the gills with coarse fish over its six good-sized fishing ponds.
The farm is also a top spot for wanders, as it has easy access to excellent walks nearby, and for coastal and seaside days, as the Suffolk coast is only a few miles away. Southwold, Walberswick, Halesworth and Beccles are all within a short drive.
In 2017 Haw Wood Farm was awarded AA’s most improved Campsite of the year and for 2020 they were delighted to announce that they became one of the few UK Parks to receive a 5 Gold Pennant rating from the AA.
Haw Wood Farm is a family run and well-established campsite that prides itself on its peaceful, well maintained and spacious pitches. A 14-acre site surrounded by countryside, for 100 tourers, tents, motorhomes and 55 privately owned Static Caravans.
Haw Wood Farm has recently seen some major improvements to its amenities . We are really proud of our platinum award winning bathrooms, family rooms and facilities for the disabled. We have a laundry, shop, reception area, cafe and fantastic kids playground.
